Job Overview Assists more senior engineers in implementing manufacturing techniques, processes, tools and machinery in order to optimize quality and output levels. This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee. Job Requirements Responsible for analyzing complex manufacturing process flows and developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, operational sequences and processes in the production of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. Applies fundamental knowledge of engineering principles to resolve routine issues and technical problems with limited scope. Work with automated/semi-automated/manual assembly equipment and processes Manages assigned projects Lead and analyze process related issues w/ data. New process work router development Daily support of manufacturing areas, including updating production routings in SAP Six Sigma/Lean manufacturing tools Complete time studies and process flow audits, improve efficiencies and minimize waste Identify where quality inspections or QIP check points would
