Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manufacturing and Process Development Engineer - Fiber Optics to drive the design, development, and implementation of next generation manufacturing technologies and processes for our fiber optic products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Product Development and Operations teams to ensure seamless product launches, cost-effective designs, and efficient manufacturing processes. ***THIS POSITION IS 100% ON-SITE AT THE ARDEN, NC FACILITY** Job Requirements Execute manufacturing deliverables for the New Product Development (NPD) Phase Gate process Provide DFM/DFA input during early stages of product design Conduct manufacturing capacity analysis and value stream mapping Develop and implement new manufacturing technologies and automation Apply lean manufacturing principles to drive cost optimization and productivity What your background should look like Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Optical, or Manufacturing Engineering (Required) 5- 8 years of hands- on experience in a manufacturing environment Proficiency with 3D CAD software and Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of machines, equipment, and process design, development, and deployment Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Excellent communication skills and collaboration
