Job Overview The Senior MES Engineer leads the design, implementation, and optimization of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to support complex manufacturing operations. This role provides technical leadership across MES architecture, system integration, and production support, acting as a key bridge between Manufacturing, Automation, and IT teams. Job Requirements MES Architecture & Leadership · Lead MES system design, configuration, and deployment across manufacturing lines or plants · Define MES architecture, data models, and integration standards · Review and approve MES functional specifications and technical designs · Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior MES engineers Advanced Shop Floor Integration · Lead integration of MES with machines, PLCs, SCADA, vision systems, and test equipment · Define standards for machine connectivity, data collection, and validation · Collaborate closely with Automation and Controls teams to ensure robust OT integration Enterprise & IT/OT Integration · Design and maintain interfaces between MES and ERP (e.g., SAP), WMS, QMS, LIMS · Ensure end-to-end traceability, genealogy, and data integrity · Support cybersecurity, access control, and compliance requirements Production Support & Issue Resolution · Provide senior-level MES support during production and ramp-up phases · Lea
