Job Overview The Industrial Precision Power Solutions Manufacturing Development Team has an opportunity for a Manufacturing and Process Development Engineer focused on plating operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the specification, design, ultimate production launch of plating assets, driving new plating technologies and processes into production settings for the Aerospace, Defense & Marine BU. The successful candidate will work together with global TE manufacturing teams, Product Development and Sustaining Engineering, Quality Engineering, Operations, TE vendors, and other stakeholders to support the manufacturing strategies, growth initiatives, and cost savings targets for the AD&M sub-vertical. What your background should look like  Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Materials or Metallurgical Engineering or Technology field and/or 2 years experience in Surface Finishing processes.  Be familiar with Ni, PdNi, Au, Ag, Cd, ZnNi plating processes.  3D CAD - Creo and/or Solidworks skills.  Proven and effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  Understand test standards for plating layer, such as salt spray test, nitric acid test, etc.  Fluent in using of basic process development related tools like DFM, PFMEA, DOE.  Self-directed and highly motivated.  Spanish and English written a
