Job Overview TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures. This opening is 2nd shift. The 2nd shift for this role is 3:00pm to 11:00pm, Monday to Friday. Duties: Maintains a clean and safe work environment, performing all work in accordance with established local and corporate safety procedures. Must be able to complete Certification of Confined Space, LOTO, and DOT Hazardous Materials training. Has knowledge of chemicals and safety associated with their use and storage. Works independently to achieve team goals and directives. Effectively communicates needed repairs and tasks to appropriate channels. Works closely with maintenance personnel to develop, fabricate, and assemble equipment modifications of a less complex nature, making recommendations to improve design and eliminate possible functional problems. Performs daily walk around including gauge checks, tank level inspections, leak inspections, pump inspections, and other related tasks.
