Job Overview DDN- An Equipment Technician's job involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime, often requiring knowledge of PLC, vision system, electrical-electronics, mechanical, pneumatics and safety protocols. Job Requirements Conduct routine inspections and perform scheduled maintenance on equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, accurately identifying root causes. Repair or replace defective components to restore equipment to optimal operating condition. Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and minimize downtime. Interpret and work with electrical schematics, machine manuals, and other technical documentation to understand equipment operation and repair procedures. Support the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring proper configuration and alignment. Connect and install cables, wires, and other components as required. Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment condition. Document issues encountered and corrective actions taken.
