About this role

Training and Development Specialist Dallas, TX, Dallas, Texas, United States T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. By the time you finish reading this paragraph, we will have produced two solar panels that will power American homes and fuel domestic AI. The Role The Training and Development Specialist is responsible for the systematic administration, coordination, and execution of all workforce training programs at the Wilmer manufacturing facility. This role serves as the primary liaison between Human Resources, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and Production Operations to ensure that all personnel are technically proficient, safety-compliant, and aligned with ISO quality standards. What You'll Do - Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of the employee training process, including initial orientation, specialized technical on-boarding, and recurring annual certifications. - Facilitate training sessions in both English and Spanish, for any requested trainings from any departments, ensuring that complex technical procedures and safety protocols are communicated clearly to a diverse workforce. - Maintain the facility's Training Matrix with a high degree of accuracy. Ensure all training records are audit-ready and compliant with corporate policies and federal regulations. - Collaborate with Production Supervisors to perform hands-on competency assessments
