About this role

Facilities Technician I Dallas, TX, Dallas, Texas, United States T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. By the time you finish reading this paragraph, we will have produced two solar panels that will power American homes and fuel domestic AI. The Role T1 Energy is looking to hire a Facilities Technician I which supports the operation, maintenance, and reliability of facility systems and equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an entry-level role. What You'll Do • Performing routine maintenance • Troubleshooting basic mechanical and electrical issues • Assisting with preventive maintenance programs to ensure safe and efficient plant operations • Monitor facility control systems to identify issues such as equipment faults, alarms, or jams • Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance activities across facility systems • Perform routine inspections (daily, weekly, monthly) of building systems including lighting, door dock, and general infrastructure • Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting, including identifying and replacing blown fuses and resolving simple AC circuit issues • Perform minor plumbing repairs and general facility upkeep • Support basic fabrication tasks using hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe
