Job Summary: Supermicro is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Motherboard Application Validation Team. This position is based in our headquarters located in San Jose, CA. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned): • Help to prepare and assembly the system under test • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and instruction to proceed SI testing • Proactive and professionally manage the lab environment in accordance with company guidelines • Able to manage multiple tasks and projects • Follow up the bug tracking system to communicate with designer and verify the failure issue Qualifications: • H.S. graduate or GED equivalent, some college is preferred • Minimum 1 year of relative working experience in electronic computer industry a must • Computer or server installation experience a plus • Familiarity with me
