Providing supervision for the Production Technicians. Ensuring maintenance operating efficiencies. Safety. Housekeeping. Quality workmanship. Primary contact with the Production Supervisors to coordinate work with maintenance staff on duty. Executes preventive maintenance programs. Effectively coordinates maintenance activities with production, warehouse, and quality. Provide support to the leadership team and employees at the site. Essential Functions of the Job: Leads all Production Technicians on their scheduled shifts. Coordinate's maintenance workers by scheduling repairs, and planning maintenance and installation activities. Coordinate's maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations. Review's production, quality control and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities. Identifies the training needs of shift personnel in all aspects of their jobs consistent with established operating procedures. Ensure safety in the workplace by eliminating unsafe conditions and unsafe employee behaviors. Protect Company assets by the direct intervention of any condition resulting in the abuse of equipment or buildings. Executes the preventive maintenance program in conjunction with the maintenance staff. Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
