Technical Accounting Manager Sofia, Bulgaria Technical Accounting Manager - Finance 📍 Sofia, Bulgaria About the team This is a senior technical accounting role with real strategic influence - not a policy maintenance job. You'll help shape how SumUp's financial statements are structured and how complex IFRS standards are applied across a business that spans payments, banking, lending, and other financial products across 37 markets and 10 legal entities. You'll bring the technical accounting perspective that helps SumUp make sound business decisions and accurate reporting judgements - from new IFRS standards adoption to how we treat internally developed products on the balance sheet. The role requires someone who loves deep research and knows how to distill it into a clear, concise conclusion. You'll be part of the Global Finance team, working closely with the Group Reporting and Controlling teams, together shaping how SumUp reports its financials to leadership, auditors, and investors.
