Team description The Payments tribe is at the heart of what SumUp does - processing payments for over 4 million small businesses across 37 markets. Within the Processing product family, the analytics function plays a critical role in helping product and engineering teams understand what's working, what isn't, and where the biggest opportunities lie. Right now, we have rich datasets and a growing analytical foundation, but the real challenge is turning that complexity into clear, trustworthy narratives that help people make faster, smarter decisions. This role aims to help us build a more resilient, scalable data culture within one of SumUp's most business-critical domains. What you'll do - Redesign and simplify key Tableau dashboards so that non-expert stakeholders can answer "how are we doing?" and "why?" without needing analytical support - Define and iterate on KPI structures - establishing what to show, what to exclude, and how to sequence metrics so the story is immediately understandable - Build a lightweight insights cadence: recurring updates that interpret what changed, what it likely means, and what follow-up actions to consider - Establish scalable dashboard templates and self-serve patterns to keep reporting consistent and trustworthy as the team grows - Ramp into
