Position Overview - For college graduates looking to gain exposure to the private markets industry while developing strong technical skills in data analytics and business intelligence, this role offers hands-on experience working with Python, Power BI, and data-driven reporting tools. - Junior Analysts will build expertise in data collection, validation, and analytics, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders (including General Partners) to support investment monitoring and reporting efforts. The role emphasizes scalable data processes, automation, and dashboard-driven insights. - Opportunity to work with and contribute to StepStone's Portfolio Analytics and Reporting (“SPAR”) team supporting Real Estate operations, with teams located in Cleveland, Ohio and La Jolla, CA. - This is a full-time (40 hours per week) opportunity for a 16-week period, with the possibility to extend or transition into a permanent role. Primary Responsibilities Data Collection, Validation & External Coordination - Collect, process, and validate investment data from General Partners (GPs) - Communicate directly with external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy and completeness - Develop repeatable workflows for data ingestion, validation, and quality control using Python Analytics & Dashboard Development - Design and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI
