About this role

Staff Product Manager New York City We're looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead the evolution of the Squarespace User Platform, a foundational capability at the core of our product and developer ecosystem. You'll define an API-first strategy that empowers internal teams and third-party developers, modernize our core account architecture, and shape the next generation of the Account Dashboard experience. You'll Get To… API-first Platform Strategy - Own the roadmap for an API-first User Platform, providing clean, reliable access to account data and functionality for internal teams and third-party developers - Lead delivery of a unified API layer that simplifies authentication and routing for the account dashboard - Drive development of synchronous and asynchronous APIs that give partner teams more autonomy, reducing interdependencies and keeping the core account model clean and scalable Platform Modernization - Define a roadmap for modernizing core account data models and persistence layers for long-term maintainability and growth - Simplify management of account-level metadata and settings through modern database patterns that reduce engineering overhead - Improve platform resilience by reducing coupling to older architectural patterns Account Dashboard User Experience - - Shape the vision for an account-centric dashboard with intuitive navigation for all customer types - Partner with design and engineering to deliver a cohesive experience across all touch points Who We're Looking For - Strong technical fluency across APIs, microservices, authorization, and distributed architecture - Track record of executing multi-year platform strategies, including modernization and migrations - Ability to align and influence stakeholders building
