TEST TECHNICIAN (STARLINK) The SpaceX Factory Automation and Test team is seeking exceptional technical talent to simulate the rigors of long duration operation in the vacuum of near-Earth space, the rigors of rocket launch, and the toughest terrestrial environments! In this role you will help provide broadband access to underserved people across the world. in the process you will literally leave your fingerprints on cutting-edge propulsion, radio, laser, and power hardware and the production machine that builds it. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Build high-quality wire harnesses, PCBAs, test racks, robotics, and environmental simulation equipment - Support production and qualification by troubleshooting hardware and software, updating documentation, training line technicians, and performing schedule maintenance - Manage workload in order to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and respond to critical requests - Interpret a variety of sources ranging from controlled, released documentation to informal sketches - Identify design gaps; ask directed questions, and apply skill and experience to resolve them, and update documentation to prevent recurrence - Maintain clean, stocked, and orderly work area BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalency certificate - 1+ years of experience in electromechanical assembly PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - Associate degree - 3+ years of experience
