TEST SPECIALIST - STARSHIP ELECTROMECHANICAL COMPONENTS The Components Test organization is a team of engineers, specialists, and technicians who provide the testing expertise needed to develop flight hardware for Starship launch and spacecraft systems. Our responsibilities to the flight hardware start at conception and follow the design through R&D testing, design qualification testing, production/acceptance testing, and finally to failure investigations of hardware that may have failed anywhere in its life cycle. The Starship Actuation Components Test team designs, builds, operates, and maintains custom test stands and test fixtures for actuators, motors, power electronics devices, and other electromechanical assemblies that must perform in extreme environments. Test specialists are primarily responsible for building, operating, and maintaining these test facilities and play a key role in the design process by providing feedback to engineers on how the resources will be operated and maintained. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems - Perform tests independently, or with engineers, according to test procedures and design requirements - Summarize and distribute test data and preliminary test results to all interested parties - Collaborate with engineers to develop and document test procedures - Assist in the design of test fixtures, test
