About this role

Tax Analyst, International Hawthorne, CA SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. TAX ANALYST, INTERNATIONAL SpaceX is seeking to add a tax analyst to work on U.S. and local country tax matters for SpaceX subsidiaries worldwide as we expand our Starlink business. The tax analyst will be part of the international tax team located in Hawthorne, CA. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Data preparation and coordination with external service providers for preparation of both direct and indirect tax returns, as well as month-end financial reporting activities - Ensure that existing jurisdictions in which Starlink has operations are compliant with local tax requirements and e-invoicing requirements - Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams (operations, commercial, legal, customs, treasury, accounting, finance) and other stakeholders to build a strong network across these departments and with external resources to ensure compliance with local legislation - Coordinate tax payments, including monitoring payment dates, calculating correct payment amounts, and ensuring payments are properly recorded in the books - Assist with maintaining tax records, legal agreements, customs, and transfer pricing documentation - Assist with notices/audits received from various tax ing authorities - Provide support as needed on ad hoc projects BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree - 2+ years of combined tax experience in public accounting and/or multinational corporation PREFERRED SKILLS
