About this role

Supervisor, IT Network Infrastructure Redmond, WA SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. SUPERVISOR, IT NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE SpaceX technical teams work in a complex environment supporting a variety of critical production, launch and landing activities. The Network Infrastructure team installs and supports the low voltage used for all types of telecommunications in support of the production and launch vehicles and spacecraft. This includes but not limited to installation and support of the layer 1 fiber and copper data network cabling infrastructure, support of mission video, ground-side vehicle and payload interface systems, ground stations, telemetry and optical tracking systems, marine communications, readiness testing, and other systems involved in real-time communications and operations for Falcon, Dragon, Starship and other missions. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Supervise technician teams to install and maintain mission critical communication systems - Prioritize and schedule work to meet required timelines - Provide feedback and progress updates to project stakeholders - Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot cabling infrastructure systems and perform repairs as necessary - Coordinate with other contractors and project teams as needed - Collaborate with the communication engineers and telecommunication specialist in system designs, selection of materials, and creation of documentation - Interface with external carriers (private and government) at cross-connect facilities, and transition points - Provide superior customer service to
