Sr. Quality Systems Engineer (Starlink) Bastrop, TX SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars. SR. QUALITY SYSTEMS ENGINEER (STARLINK) SpaceX has developed a low latency, broadband internet system to meet the needs of consumers across the globe. Enabled by a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites, Starlink is providing fast, reliable internet to populations with little or no connectivity, including those in rural communities and places where existing services are too expensive or unreliable. We are developing millions of devices for end users to link our customers to our satellites. These products, including Starlink dishes, Wi-Fi routers, power supply, and accessories, etc. are designed and manufactured completely in-house by SpaceX. Engineers on the team will be hands-on, regularly interact with multiple technical disciplines, and ultimately ensure that Starlink is a global success. The Sr. Quality Systems Engineer will improve the quality management system and verify compliance to ISO9001 prescribed procedures. They will plan, schedule, and perform quality system audits while measuring and analyzing audit and QMS data to drive continual improvement initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide management system training and guidance to SpaceX management, departments, and internal customers - Build, implement, and improve policy, procedures and systems that meet SpaceX business objectives to assure compliance to customer requirements and industry standards
