GLOBAL SUPPLY MANAGER , SEMICONDUCTOR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (IP) RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for development and management of SpaceX's intellectual property (IP) portfolio (patents, trademarks, trade secrets around business products and technologies in support of the business strategy) as it pertains to semiconductor manufacturing - Work closely with engineering teams to identify and assess competitive patent, trademark and trade secret assets, and impact on desired business outcomes - Work closely with SpaceX legal counsel to ensure proper IP rights are acquired for specific manufacturing processes - Assess cost and risk of IP for various manufacturing strategies and advise leadership on the strategies that should be pursued and avoided - Prepare and maintain applicable IP contract forms and/or clauses - Create playbooks and training materials for IP strategy development on future manufacturing processes - Engage and negotiate directly with vendors for purchase or license of IP - Develop and negotiate complex technical transactions, including development and supply agreements for equipment and joint development BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - 7+ years of procurement experience - 5+ years of experience in Intellectual Property (IP) negotiations - 5+ years of experience in manufacturing - 5+ years of experience in semiconductor industry
