About this role
Reliability Technician (Starlink Aviation) Woodinville, WA SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars. As Reliability Technician on the Starlink Aviation team, you'll execute on testing, root cause following playbooks, and returns processing for the Starlink Aviation program. You'll play a key role in delivering the test and root cause outcomes to enable a reliable product for the customer. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Execute thermal, humidity, salt fog, vibration, pressure testing. - Execute on processing returns from fleet failures to identify the root cause. - Identify process improvements and efficiencies to continuously improve the lab and returns operations. - Partner with hardware reliability engineering to root cause novel failures. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalency certificate. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - 3+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment. - Demonstrated experience in electrical hardware root cause. - Experience troubleshooting electronics hardware and/or RF communication systems. - Experience operating standard test equipment (thermal, salt fog, humidity chambers, vibration tables, pressure fixtures). - Self-starter attitude, energy, and the ability to communicate effectively across business and technical discipline. - Experience in a fast-paced, iterative design environment within the consumer electronics, mobile handset, medical devices, aerospace, marine or automotive industries. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and offsite as needed.
