MANUFACTURING SPECIALIST (SATELLITE TRANSCEIVER) SpaceX is developing a low latency, broadband internet system to meet the needs of consumers across the globe. Enabled by a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites, Starlink will provide fast, reliable internet to populations with little or no connectivity, including those in rural communities and places where existing services are too expensive or unreliable. We are looking for a talented manufacturing specialist to support production of optoelectronic devices for Starlink. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Execute and manage new configuration introduction into production on aggressive timelines - Identify, develop, and provide training for production technicians on new or updated processes - Program and operate microelectronics assembly machines (die/wire bonding machines) - Train technicians to run/troubleshoot complex machines - Create and support equipment maintenance and calibration schedules - Execute Design of Experiments (DOE) for iterative process improvement - Design and implement assembly fixtures / shop aids to improve manufacturing processes - Specify equipment requirements for new PCBA build processes - Implement standard practices, troubleshooting guides, and standard repair procedures - Assess non-conforming hardware and drive resolution and preventative actions - First level triage of production yield issues and other hardware failures - Collaborate with manufacturing, test,
