About this role

BENEFITS COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide support with administration of employee benefit programs, such as medical, dental, vision, life, accident and disability insurance, and retirement plans, including new hire orientation and annual benefits open enrollment - Assist, advise, and counsel employees on day-to-day benefit-related questions (via email, phone, walk-ups, and drop-in sessions) - Maintain integrity of eligibility enrollments within Workday - Partner with our payroll department to ensure accuracy of benefit deductions - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to: - Employee perks administration, employee services, and company wellness initiatives - Relocation administration - Commuter benefits administration - Leaves of absence (LOA) administration - Workers' compensation administration - Onsite medical and dental clinics - Onsite preschool - Employee perquisites and wellness initiatives - Commuter benefits BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree - 6+ months of administrative experience (internship experience qualifies) PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - 2+ years of experience in employee benefits, leave of absence, or workers' compensation - Experience with Workday or other HRIS system - Ability to use independent judgment and prioritize work - Effective verbal, written and presentation communication skills - Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel - Attention to detail and commitment
