About this role
Electrolyte Production Supervisor Thornton, CO Position Overview: Solid Power is seeking an Electrolyte Production Supervisor to lead daily electrolyte powder manufacturing operations supporting next-generation all-solid-state battery materials. This role is responsible for driving safe, consistent, and efficient production while leading operators, enforcing standards, and improving process performance. The supervisor will partner cross-functionally with QC, Engineering, Maintenance, EH&S, and other departments to ensure product quality, throughput, and compliance in a controlled manufacturing environment. This position will support our split shift team. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Electrolyte Production. Job Duties: - Lead and supervise electrolyte powder production operations and shift activities. - Manage and develop production operators, including training, performance, and accountability. - Drive adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and batch execution requirements. - Monitor and report on production performance, yields, and quality metrics. - Identify and execute continuous improvement and process optimization opportunities. - Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment. - Maintain dry room and controlled environment standards, including housekeeping and material handling practices. - Enforce safety protocols and lead a strong safety culture aligned with EHS requirements. - Support process hazard analysis (PHA) and implementation of risk mitigation measures. - Coordinate with QC and Engineering on deviations, investigations, and corrective actions. - Ensure compliance with OSHA, PSM, and internal safety standards. Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree of Science preferred, or equivalent years of experience required. High School Diploma or GED required. - At least 7 years of supervisory, team lead or managerial experience. - At least
