About this role
Test Technician Kenosha, WI, US Overview This position conducts a variety of product testing with cordless and pneumatic power tools ranging from performance capture to durability/life testing. Ensures accurate execution of testing and data capture. Writes test reports which include documenting results, procedures and equipment used. Aids in the development of test fixtures and documents procedures. Provides evaluation and troubleshooting support proposing improvements where applicable. Responsibilities Maintain a safe environment in the test lab through the mandatory use of personal protection equipment along with safe test methods and equipment. Use 6S to keep the lab clean and uncluttered. Relied on to conduct established tests and evaluation protocols paying attention to and reporting abnormalities. Generate accurate measurement and test data; publish timely reports; store test samples and documentation appropriately. Maintain current test fixtures, continually striving for methods and/or equipment improvements. Participate in the development of accelerated life test fixtures and procedures. Qualifications Associate's degree in mechanical or electrical field preferred. 3-4 years of technician experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude, experience with mechanisms, electronics, and/or experience with electro-mechanical devices preferred. Experience with the use of laboratory equipment such as power supply, oscilloscopes, current probes, data acquisition systems, and electronic loads are a plus. Experience
