PMHNP/DNP Preceptorship (Sept 2026-Dec 2026) Hospital - Towson; Hospital - Balt Wash Sheppard Pratt hospital programs, in Towson, MD and Elkridge, MD serve individuals with acute psychiatric and behavioral health needs requiring inpatient and day hospitalization services. Program units including Child inpatient, adolescent inpatient, adult general inpatient and day hospital, geriatric inpatient, adult thought disorders inpatient and day hospital, co-occurring adult inpatient unit, geriatric inpatient unit, and specialty units; eating disorders, neuro/intellectual disabilities, psychiatric urgent care unit and trauma disorders. A patient's average stay is 7 - 10 days. Treatment focus is on stabilization of psychiatric symptoms, skill acquisition and application for patients to transition safely back into the community. Placement on a particular unit is not guaranteed.
