Job Overview We are seeking a mid-level Information Architect to support the Mission Training team by organizing, structuring, and clarifying complex technical content across instructional design projects. This role focuses on improving how system information is organized, visualized, and delivered within training programs to enhance usability, comprehension, and operational performance. The Information Architect works closely with instructional designers and subject matter experts to translate engineering-heavy content into clear, task-aligned learning structures that support mission readiness. Responsibilities: Content Organization & Structure - Organize complex system information into clear, logical learning pathways. - Develop content outlines, structural templates, and standardized naming conventions. - Create and maintain content hierarchies for training modules, system documentation, and performance support materials. - Support version control and content updates as systems evolve. - Develop taxonomies, content models, and metadata frameworks for training assets. - Standardize naming conventions, content hierarchies, and structural templates across instructional projects. - Establish standards for organizing and versioning training materials as products evolve. - Ensure alignment between documentation, training materials, and system updates. Instructional Design Support - Partner with instructional designers to align content structure with learning objectives and performance outcomes. - Break down technical concepts into digestible, learner-centered formats. - Sequence content to support scenario-based and performance-based training. - Ensure consistency across training materials and modules.
