Job Overview We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the R&D Test Team. The engineer's responsibilities include supporting the improvement of existing multi-disciplinary systems related to developing new autonomous vehicle concepts and prototypes. Technical activities include assisting in engineering, designing, building, and testing of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software driven systems in the process of developing various autonomous vehicle systems. The candidate must be able to apply engineering fundamentals, work within demanding timeframes, and develop practical solutions to technical and logistical problems while learning on the job. Responsibilities - Assist in understanding the technical requirements, problems, or client briefs and support development of solutions that satisfy the requirements. - Support engineering, design, and prototype development of electro-mechanical systems and software for autonomous vehicles and related devices and subsystems. - Apply fundamental engineering principles, best practices, and analysis in areas including mechanical, electrical, electronics, and software under guidance of senior engineers. - Assist in conducting applied research, documenting findings, and presenting results. - Support development of design documents for parts, sub-systems, and final integrated systems. - Assist in selecting the required tools and materials for manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance processes. - Support integration of electro-mechanical systems and software into fully integrated systems. - Execute proof of concept, functionality, and reliability testing of components and sub-systems.
