About this role

Account Executive – Central Government Italy - Rome We're looking for a driven and strategic Named Account Executive to join our Public Sector Central sales team. In this role, you'll own a defined portfolio of central government and public sector accounts, building deep relationships and driving digital transformation initiatives. Responsibilities Own the full sales cycle - from prospecting and pipeline development to negotiation and close - for a named set of central government accounts Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, procurement leads, and agency decision-makers Develop and execute account plans aligned to each agency's mission and strategic priorities Partner with Solution Engineers, Customer Success, and Professional Services to deliver compelling proposals and demos Navigate complex procurement processes, including RFPs, RFIs, and government contract vehicles (e.g., MEPA, SDAPA, Consip Frameworks, etc.) Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue in CRM on a weekly basis Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, alliances, and channel partners to grow your territory Stay current on public sector trends, policy changes, and agency priorities to position solutions effectively What We're Looking For 5+ years of B2B enterprise software or SaaS sales experience, with at least 2 years selling into government or public sector accounts Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles Experience navigating government procurement processes and contract vehicles Strong executive presence with excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to build a business case and articulate ROI to both technical and non-technical audiences Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to
