Support the Senior Manager with evaluations, approvals, and financial analyses that inform pricing and transportation management decisions; monitor reporting to ensure compliance with established financial guidelines. Oversee daily workflow to ensure efficient, timely, accurate invoice auditing and processing, including resolution of exception invoices and management of overcharge/undercharge claims. Partner with internal stakeholders and external carriers to identify, address, and resolve carrier payment, billing discrepancies, and related issues. Lead all management-level responsibilities for direct reports, including hiring, performance reviews, coaching, counseling, employee development, and corrective actions; develop reporting and initiatives to strengthen bench depth and increase team flexibility. Collaborate with Operations and IT to design, test, and implement new systems and system enhancements that support freight payment and audit processes.) At a minimum, you'll need: 5 years of experience in billing, collections, audit, accounts receivable, accounts payable or transportation/logistics The ability to develop customer and cross-departmental relationships to achieve objectives To embrace people development and cross training to effectively manage turnover and PTO.
