As a Dock Worker, you'll play a vital role in our daily operations by efficiently loading, unloading and organizing freight. At RXO , we're looking for reliable, hardworking Dock Workers who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a strong eye for detail. You'll be part of a supportive team and have the opportunity to grow your career in logistics. What your day-to-day will look like: Load and unload freight from trailers using manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts Sort and organize freight in the dock area according to destination or shipment priority Inspect freight for damage, verify labeling and documentation and report any discrepancies Assist in maintaining a clean, organized and safe dock environment Ensure proper handling and securement of freight to prevent damage during transit Communicate with dispatchers, drivers and warehouse staff to ensure timely processing of shipments Follow all company safety policies and procedures during operations What you'll need to excel: At a minimum, you'll need: The ability to maintain a valid driver's license It'd be great if you also have: Good communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand
