About this role
Intern – Cell Analysis San Diego, California Summary This internship within the Cell Analysis Product Development team provides hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing biological assays to support cell analysis applications. The intern will gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies and contribute to projects focused on advancing tools used in cell-based research. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze experimental data, and contribute to a fast-paced, research-driven environment. What You Will Do Design, develop, and execute biological assays for cell analysis applications Stay current with emerging technologies and innovations in cell analysis tools Analyze and interpret experimental data and communicate findings to team members Contribute to maintaining a safe laboratory work environment and recommend safety improvements Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Basic Qualifications Currently enrolled in or pursuing a BS, MS, or MA degree in a life sciences-related field Must be enrolled at an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later Preferred Qualifications Coursework in immunology and/or cell biology Hands-on experience with cell handling or laboratory techniques Exposure to flow cytometry and cell culture techniques Work Environment & Physical Demands -Lab While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met
