About this role

Intern - Cell Analysis Flow San Diego, California Krakow (City), Poland Join our Product Development team at BioLegend as a Cell Analysis Flow Intern and gain hands-on experience in the development of novel reagents for detecting biomarkers, characterizing cell phenotypes, and studying cellular processes. The intern will utilize flow cytometry and live cell imaging techniques to evaluate cellular behavior and biomarker expression. Upon completion of the program, the intern will have gained practical experience in antibody-based assays and a strong foundation in cell culture, primary cell preparation, immunofluorescence staining, multicolor flow cytometry, and live cell imaging. What You Will Do Prepare and stain human and/or mouse cell samples for flow cytometry following standard operating procedures Acquire and analyze samples using flow cytometry instrumentation Perform data analysis and interpret experimental results Maintain accurate laboratory records and complete required documentation Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Basic Qualifications Currently enrolled in a BS/BA program in a life sciences-related field Minimum of 6 months of laboratory experience (academic or industry) Preferred Qualifications Experience with cell culture and handling of tissue or blood samples Familiarity with microscopy, fluorescence staining, and antibody-based applications Work Environment & Physical Demands -Lab While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer.
