ABOUT THE ROLE: We're seeking an Engineering Manager, Mobile to lead the future of our mobile experiences at Replit. In this role, you'll build and manage a team that bridges design and engineering to create intuitive, performant mobile interfaces that make software creation accessible on any device. You'll guide your team in building production-ready frameworks and patterns that enable high-quality in-product experiences, ensuring users can create apps from their phones or tablets with the same power as desktop. YOU WILL: - Build, mentor, and grow a team of mobile design engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and design craftsmanship - Define the technical vision and strategy for mobile design systems, establishing frameworks and patterns that ship to production and scale across iOS, Android, and responsive web - Partner closely with design, product, and engineering leadership to prioritize mobile initiatives and ensure seamless collaboration between design and development teams - Drive best practices for mobile-first development, ensuring your team builds production-grade patterns that deliver consistent, high-quality experiences while optimizing for performance - Oversee the architecture of complex mobile UI components and systems, providing technical guidance and code review to maintain high standards - Champion accessible, responsive interfaces through well-architected frameworks, and establish processes that improve mobile design-to-development
