Senior Staff Product Engineer, BMS Plano, Texas, United States Company Description: Job Description: The Senior Staff Product Engineer for BMS is a highly experienced and technically proficient role responsible for the successful characterization, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing release of BMS ICs for automotive applications. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with deep knowledge of automotive quality and safety standards (AEC-Q100, APQP, ISO 26262) and a strong understanding of IC design, test, and manufacturing processes. This role is a critical link between the design, test, applications, and quality assurance teams, ensuring that the BMS IC meets all functional, performance, and reliability requirements throughout its lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Product Qualification and Reliability: Lead and manage the qualification of new BMS products, ensuring compliance with automotive standards such as AEC-Q100 for stress qualification. Develop, execute, and oversee comprehensive product reliability plans. Characterization and Validation: Develop and implement characterization plans to fully test and validate the performance of BMS ICs, covering all features and operating conditions. Work closely with design and test engineers to create robust and efficient test programs for both characterization and high-volume manufacturing. Statistical Data Analysis: Apply advanced statistical analysis techniques to product data for process monitoring, yield optimization, and test limit definition. Utilize statistical tools to identify and resolve performance and reliability issues. Automotive Quality and Functional Safety: Serve as the product expert for Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities, including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Control Plans, and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
