Laboratory Technician Intern Prague, , Czechia Company Description: Job Description: We are looking for a motivated Laboratory Technician Intern to join our Silicon Validation Engineering team within a leading semiconductor company. This internship offers hands-on experience in a real silicon validation laboratory environment, supporting the testing and validation of integrated circuits (ICs) from early silicon bring-up through full validation. The intern will work closely with validation and application engineers, gaining exposure to lab equipment, measurement techniques, test setups, and automation commonly used in semiconductor development. You will: Support day‑to‑day laboratory activities for silicon validation and characterization Maintain and organize lab equipment, boards, and consumables Ensure compliance with lab safety and handling procedures (ESD, equipment usage) Assist engineers with test setup preparation, including: Board bring‑up and cabling Instrument configuration (e.g. power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters) Execute pre‑defined validation and characterization tests under engineer supervision Collect, organize, and document measurement data and test results Help with basic troubleshooting of lab setups and measurement issues What You Will Gain: Real‑world experience inside a silicon validation lab Exposure to semiconductor development flow, from silicon bring‑up to customer release Hands‑on training with professional lab equipment Experience working in a multidisciplinary engineering team Mentorship from experienced validation and applications engineers Qualifications: Mandatory: High school diploma completed. The candidate can be enrolled in a bachelor/ master's degree course, but not mandatory. Local, from Prague. Fluent in both Czech and English languages. Preferred: Basic knowledge of electronics fundamentals (voltage, current, Ohm's Law, basic circuits) Interest in hands-on laboratory work
