Legal Counsel, Media & Technology Beverly Hills, CA Overview Regent is a global private holding company focused on acquiring businesses and realizing exponential growth through operational improvements and strategic capital deployment. Since its inception, Regent has successfully acquired businesses from leading Fortune 500 and large-cap companies. Our investments span the globe and operate across a wide array of industry verticals. We are currently seeking a Legal Counsel, Technology & Media to join our team. This individual will support the media and technology businesses of Regent's portfolio on a broad range of commercial, and data-related legal matters. The role will be heavily transactional and business-facing, with a focus on enabling growth while managing legal risk across Regent's technology and media operations. This is a five-days-per-week, in-office role. Responsibilities - Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including sales agreements, vendor agreements, SaaS agreements, data processing agreements, and online terms and conditions. - Support Regent's media and technology businesses with copyright licenses, content distribution agreements, technology licenses, and other IP-adjacent commercial contracts. - Advise on privacy, data protection, and information security matters, including compliance with applicable U.S. and international data protection laws and regulations. - Partner closely with business, product, sales, and operations teams to provide practical, solutions-oriented legal guidance. - Support strategic transactions by advising on technology, data, media, and commercial contract-related issues. - Develop and maintain scalable contract templates, playbooks, and internal processes to support fast-moving businesses. - Identify and proactively mitigate legal risks related to technology
