About this role
Test Engineer Hawthorne HQ, Hawthorne, California, United States At Reflect, you will be expected to move fast, have a lot of ownership and, most importantly, be able to effect change. About the Role As an Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, executing and overseeing test campaigns to prepare our spacecraft for flight. You will own our 'space simulator', and enable very fast iteration of spacecraft design. Responsibilities - Design & execute test plans for comprehensive flight testing (thermal, thermal-vacuum, vibe, shock, radiation, atomic oxygen, other unique testing, etc. - Design & build unique testing systems for the novel areas of our spacecraft - Work closely with the rest of the engineering team to ensure robust and complete testing Ideal Qualifications - 4-6 years of professional test engineering experience, ideally on spacecraft or other high-reliability hardware - L2+ Test Engineering experience, including advanced troubleshooting and escalation handling - Experience testing and troubleshooting spacecraft, and standing up unique testing infrastructure & setups - Experience with space environmental testing such as TVAC, vibe, radiation, etc. - Strong experience with HITL or flatsat testbeds Even if you don't meet 100% of the above qualifications, we are likely still interested in hearing from you.
