Manufacturing Technician, Energy Storage McCarran, NV About Redwood Materials Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling - keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2017, we're delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have. Manufacturing Engineering Technician, Energy Storage Position Summary: As an early member of a new engineering technician team, you will play a key role in building, setting up, and running equipment to support the development of manufacturing lines at Redwood Materials. You'll work hands-on across mechanical and electrical tools to help validate product performance and reliability. You will support all phases of the product development lifecycle from early design validation to long-term production line improvements by assembling equipment, operating equipment safely, capturing data, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. This role requires a proactive, can-do attitude with careful attention to detail and a strong safety mindset. Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday + Flexibility to support different shifts as the operation scales is required Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Build, set up, and execute equipment fabrication on the manufacturing lines - Partner with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, operations) to support FMEAs and test plan execution - Assemble, install, and maintain test infrastructure such as fixtures, sensors, actuators, chambers, and power supplies - Operate equipment, follow procedures, and ensure safe handling of high-voltage systems and hardware - Collect, organize, and document test
