Manufacturing Quality Engineer, Energy Storage McCarran, NV About Redwood Materials Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling - keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2017, we're delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have. Manufacturing Quality Engineer Redwood is looking for a highly motivated Quality Engineer with broad experience across incoming quality, process quality, and customer-facing quality activities. A primary objective of this role will be to drive the identification, prioritization, and mitigation of quality risks throughout the operations. Additionally, the Quality Engineer is expected to support the development, deployment, and active improvement of critical quality system elements. Responsibilities will include: - Develop process and product quality standards and quality plans to ensure products will consistently meet the expectations of our customers - Lead the development of DFMEAs, PFMEAs, Process Control Plans, and test/inspection procedures to identify, prioritize and mitigate quality risks to the product - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement critical quality processes and to achieve quality objectives - Execute process and product quality readiness tasks for production ramp-up - Ensure quality standards are developed, communicated, and upheld for all actions related to manufacturing the product - Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams to facilitate swift and effective issue resolution, including root cause investigations using quality tools and the development, implementation, and validation of corrective and preventive actions -
