As a Software Engineering Team Lead on Redis AI and Search, you'll take a hands-on leadership role in shaping the future of Search and AI at Redis. You'll build and lead a talented team responsible for Redis' Search and Redis' vector and AI capabilities - the foundation for real-time full-text search, vector similarity, and retrieval layers for modern AI systems, including RAG. This team sits at the core of Redis' next-generation data platform, where performance, scale, and innovation meet. What You'll Do - Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team while remaining hands-on in design and implementation - Provide technical leadership in systems-level development using C, C++, and Rust - Drive enhancements to Redis' AI and Search capabilities, including vector search, hybrid retrieval, and semantic caching - Design, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD workflows to support high-velocity, high-quality releases - Lead incident response and customer engagement for production issues, ensuring timely resolution, postmortems, and process improvements - Collaborate closely
