Your future role within QRT: As a Windows Platform Server Engineer, you will be part of the Global Infrastructure Team, responsible for designing, building, and supporting Microsoft Windows Server and virtualization infrastructure. Your role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of core technology services that underpin research technology, trading platforms, market execution, and data processing. Responsibilities: - Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies to enhance reliability, scalability, and security. - Build, manage, and deploy all technologies related to the on-premises Windows Server stack, including OS, observability, backups, and identity services. - Configure and maintain monitoring and dashboarding tools to track server and application performance. - Build, manage, and deploy Windows Server environments (2022-2025). - Build, deploy, and monitor a globally distributed, multi-forest Active Directory environment. - Manage and configure tools such as Splunk, - Configure and manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and Entra ID integration to enforce security and access policies. - Automate server management using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance. - Optimise and troubleshoot server backups to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness. - Utilise SIEM tools to monitor and
