About the role We are seeking a highly motivated Regulatory Attorney with 3-7 years of experience to support legal and regulatory strategy for a cutting-edge U.S., CFTC-regulated exchange (DCM) and clearing organization (DCO) operating within the federal commodity derivatives regulatory framework. This role is ideal for a lawyer with experience in derivatives, exchange and clearing regulation, or financial market structure who is interested in working at the forefront of event contracts and emerging markets. The position will involve direct engagement with regulators, including the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). What you'll do - Provide daily support to Legal, Compliance, and Markets teams - Advise on the application of the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA), CFTC and Securities Exchange Commission regulations to exchange and clearing organization operations - Analyze legal issues related to CFTC-regulated prediction markets - Draft and review contract self-certifications and other regulatory filings -
