Specialist III, Environmental, Borger Refinery Job Posting Location Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the future As a Specialist III, Environmental, you will help ensure our operations protect people, communities, and the environment while supporting safe, reliable refinery performance. You will coordinate field assessments, oversee key environmental programs, and guide teams in meeting evolving regulatory requirements. In this role, you'll collaborate across the refinery and with regulatory agencies to keep our commitments to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. What You'll Do Coordinate and conduct field assessments of environmental issues to ensure operational activities meet company standards and regulatory requirements. Lead oversight of environmental programs across multiple media, including air, water, wastewater, stormwater, groundwater, and waste regulations, permits, and registrations. Manage permits and renewals, develop and execute sampling and monitoring plans, and work closely with laboratories to track, evaluate, and report environmental data. Prepare and maintain required environmental reports, plans, and records (such as air emissions reports, wastewater DMRs, waste reports, environmental monitoring reports), ensuring timely, accurate submittals and fee payments. Monitor and maintain compliance programs for air, water, waste, and spill prevention (including SWPPP, SPCC, and applicable air regulations), interpret new or revised regulations, and incorporate changes into refinery practices.
