Position Summary PG&E is seeking an Expert Technical Lead to serve as the primary technical authority and resident subject matter expert (SME) for the BigID platform, including BigID Core (deployed on PG&E‑managed AWS infrastructure with on‑premises remote scanners) and the BigID Privacy Portal (SaaS). This role is responsible for providing technical leadership, architectural guidance, and long‑term platform strategy for the BigID ecosystem. The successful candidate will act as the technical liaison with the BigID vendor, guide the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support team, and ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and aligned with PG&E's privacy, compliance, and cloud standards. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on technical leader with deep experience in AWS, APIs, scripting, containerized workloads, and data platforms, and a strong understanding of how enterprise systems store, expose, and classify data.
