CBS News is seeking a smart and innovative Senior Social Media Producer with a passion for news to join our team and help us optimize the biggest stories of the day for social platforms. We are looking for a hardworking journalist, who thrives in a fast paced environment and has impeccable editorial judgment. The senior social media producer will be tasked with: Working with CBS News talent, including O&Os and affiliates, to script, record and produce original social content Acting as one of the leaders on the team, advising social media producers on story priorities, production techniques and best practices, in day-to-day coverage, breaking news situations and during special events. Appearing onscreen in original social videos and/or recording track for voiceovers. Producing and editing original video packages for CBS News' various social media channels and the CBS News Streaming Network. Developing strategy for social channels and the optimization of show content
