Our meteorologists work in a state-of-the-art immersive, 3D weather presentation system. This position is for someone who truly wants to be a pioneer, and very serious about the science of meteorology. The meteorologist will provide weather reports for KPIX-TV, PIX+, and 27/7 streaming and digital platforms. Must be comfortable learning new graphic and presentation software and systems. Must be able to utilize graphics, NWS sources, and live radar to convey urgent information for storms and severe weather ensuring KPIX fulfills the mission of First Alert Weather.
