Class A Technician - 2nd Shift - Mississauga, Ontario PACCAR Leasing Canada | Job Country Canada | Job City Mississauga Requisition Summary Help keep the world moving and begin a rewarding career as a full-time Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician for PACCAR Leasing Company! Our technicians will become experts in servicing Kenworth and Peterbilt vehicles. Position Location: Mississauga, Ontario Shift: Weekend/2nd shift: Monday-Wednesday 1:30 pm to 10 pm; Saturday- Sunday 6:30 am to 2:30 pm Job Functions / Responsibilities Perform diagnostic inspections on general truck-tractor systems utilizing both mechanical diagnostics and system software diagnostics Perform preventative maintenance inspection of truck-tractor components. Perform repairs to truck-tractor components. Complete required paperwork to reflect hours, parts and lube, which are utilized within each job function. Ability to work with little or no supervision. Make road calls when component failure is in remote location. Ability to work in a team based environment Provide superior customer service to clients Qualifications • 310T Licensed - Truck and Coach Technician • Minimum of 4-5 years' truck-trailer repair experience. • Commercial Driver's License required. • Safety conscious and knowledge of general shop safety. • Capable of completing job functions without repeated repairs. • Firm knowledge of DOT and CVSA rules and requirements. • Available for full-time and able to work rotating shifts.
