Plant Controller Memphis, TN SUMMARY The Plant Controller provides financial leadership to the Memphis Roofing & Asphalt Plant. This position reports directly to the plant leader with dotted line reporting to the manufacturing financial leader to drive results. The Plant Controller is responsible for maintaining a controls environment that complies with the Company's internal control policies and Sarbanes Oxley and oversees shipping operations. The Plant Controller will lead a team of 3 direct reports in purchasing, buying, raw materials and shipping/transportation. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operations Planning Participates in the development of operational objectives for the plant that are aligned to Corporate and Division strategic objectives Leads proactive development of contingency plans, productivity improvement and corrective actions to ensure facility financial results and shareholder value are optimized. Accountable for executing operations plans timely in according to process Financial and Operational Controls Ensures that there is an effective and efficient system of internal controls including data integrity, asset protection, segregation of duties, budgeting, financial reporting, information systems and adherence to corporate policies and governmental regulations (GAAP, SOX compliance, etc.) Drives a robust representation letter process that provides assurance and visibility to a sound internal control environment.
