Engineering Lead Newark, OH Purpose of the Job The Process & Quality Engineer provides technical leadership to ensure safe, stable, and capable manufacturing processes that consistently deliver products meeting customer requirements. This role drives improvements in safety, quality, cost, and productivity through application of continuous improvement principles, TPM methodology, and data-driven decision making. The role also leads plant sustainability initiatives and digital transformation efforts, enabling long-term value creation through responsible resource management and advanced manufacturing capabilities. Reports to: Plant Technical Leader Span of Control: All manufacturing processes and products of assigned plant or process area Job Responsibilities Safety, Environmental & Sustainability Leadership Demonstrates and reinforces the OC Safety Stand and ensures an injury-free work environment Ensures compliance with environmental and regulatory standards and drives zero non-conformities Owns sustainability performance including energy, waste, and emissions reduction Technical Excellence & Continuous Improvement Understand current manufacturing process capability, drives to reduce variation through Statistical Process Control (SPC), and ensures product quality and consistency to improve the overall customer experience Drive Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) for quality claims, hold tags, and EOL defect scrap to identify and implement effective corrective and preventive measures Ensures nonconforming products
